I have a g/t anime recomendation

I highly recommend watching Robotech The Macross Saga. It is a mecha sci fi retro anime.

The Macross saga is about a city who goes into space and try to defend themselves from the aliens the Zentraedi. According to the humans the Zentraedi are enormous, according the the Zentraedi the humans are “micronians”.

Other than that it’s g/t. The music is really good, the characters are well developed and well designed, the voice acting is good, the plot is concise, and the antagonists are complex.

@TakoAlice8 If you’re comfortable with Japanese you may want to check out the original series that was re-written for the Robotech series: Super Dimension Fortress Macross. Wow, I haven’t thought about this show in years! I watched it back in High School and played Battletech (a miniature tabletop game loosely inspired by Robotech) when I had my hobby shop about 30 years ago!

@DFP battle tech went on to be mech warriors still going strong today plus and it hurts to hear my childhood shows called retro

@DFP I’m a huge fan of Robotech and there are plenty of G/t scenes in the anime.

Battletech is still going strong today (after the whole Clickytech fiasco) with Catalyst successfully kickstarting many new expansions. I’m a fan of the lore, the worldbuilding and politics of the Inner Sphere.

@DFP I watched the movie super dimension fortress macross: do you remember love. it was really good. I personally perfer to watch dubed anime though.
