@SmolChlo I just love understanding what makes other people tick, too… even if it’s not my main fantasy. Simply keeping an open mind made me discover some aspects I hadn’t considered, and explore scenarios I had previously discarded!

Just a quick observation from looking outside my window : snow! When there’s a foot or two of snow outside, navigating the outside world could prove REALLY troublesome, unless she has some serious ice climbing skills (and the makeshift gear, somehow?)

Although, now that I think about it, at such a light weight she could at probably walk on snow without sinking. I just don’t know how would she get her hands on shrunken winter clothing? Yeah, tinies are much safer inside the house, regardless of weather.

It doesn’t even need to be super elaborate. Like in what I posted, I know the delivery isn’t perfect and the scenario sounds cliche but I think she nailed the part where she switches from bratty entitled princess to vulnerable SW after realising she might have to remain that size. Her desire to be kept safe, it’s simple and efficient - works for me!

Very much GTS focused again but I can relate to what he said about the beauty of vulnerability, in a context of immense mutual trust :

“The giant in this scenario finds their frailty beautiful, they’re proud to protect and hold this little person.”

LMAO, I love you guys… I never thought I’d get an in-depth discussion, analysis and even an installation guide on tinies toilets, and other related challenges.

@maladaptivetiny That’s the dream! We’re going to need a bit more than just VR but also full suits and gloves.

But it’s still pretty incredible to see in VR what I’ve imagined millions of times in my head, even if it’s just a small preview of things to come.

@blehb It’s very interesting to me, but mind this isn’t representative statistically when done in a single “contemporary society class” at college. Maybe a more rigorous survey wouldn’t have the same results.

Kink aside, I’ve always found shorter women cute, but that’s just my preference. Although I cannot be entirely sure it’s not my size fetish taking over, hehe.

I’m an inch below average for guys in my country and while it does limit the dating pool, it never bothered me that much. Once shrunk, they’re all mouse-sized to me

@Olo oh believe me I know, I worked on systems that would make Orwell blush. Thankfully I’m not at that company anymore but the amount of data we had access to, that people gave willingly, was downright scary.

TikTok probably knows more about (some parts of) me than most of my friends.

@blehb You’re not alone, I’m fascinated with human nature and thus I’ve also been trying to see normies reaction to size media. I can’t find it right now but I saw a good reactions videos to HISTK on yt, and of course a few good ones to the recent Gen V scene.

Oh and I’m in the same boat about wanting to tell a partner eventually (gulp!), so I totally understand the concern.

@SmolChlo I saw this one very young, it was shown on TV and since it was animation I was drawn to it. While it was rather traumatising it probably contributed to my awakening.

It’s a classic and I’m surprised it’s not more well-known in the community. They released a blu-ray version in 2017 and it’s gorgeous, love the artwork and colours.

My problem has always been searching for signs when in reality there were none. Good ol’ “I reject your reality and substitute my own” at work!

Loved your thoughts on the fem/male/gaze. I think you nailed something important to me - agency in the face of a grim situation. I love it when a SW in a story uses everything to escape her fate, and doesn’t give up even if she ultimately fails. No fun in her being this passive victim, which can be found even in a lot of classic SW stories.

Yes, this… all the while keeping his urges in check, pushing his willpower near the breaking point. That’s my trope lol. Personally I like character descriptions to remain vague, as they allow me to project more easily into the story - if the giant is a handsome, strong and tall 20-something, it makes it harder for my early midlife self to insert.

@DFP I’m a huge fan of Robotech and there are plenty of G/t scenes in the anime.

Battletech is still going strong today (after the whole Clickytech fiasco) with Catalyst successfully kickstarting many new expansions. I’m a fan of the lore, the worldbuilding and politics of the Inner Sphere.
