      @foreverlurk I know it doesn’t really narrow it down, but Aborigen has complied a ginormous list of size fantasy music videos. Sadly, the only subcategories are “Giant people” and “Tiny People.”

      Yup, I had a look but when I saw the sheer size of the list I noped. I’ll have a look around for sure. Although I’m now being told it might be from an old commercial (what were they selling? I’m buying! 😁)

    • RE: Does your size identity affect your body image?

      @coolguy69 Oh I’m not really too hung up on my physical appearance. It’s more a realistic take on what I have (and have not) to offer.

      Growing older well - uh, this is off topic but - of course there’s the physical aspect : you’re not as much in shape in your 40s than in your early 20s. You need more regular visits to the doctor’s office, and medical tests. You feel signs that some parts of your body are raising the white flag.

      But that’s not what scares me. I’ve recently lived through the pain of losing a parent to dementia. I would not wish it on even the most foul human being, yet it happened to the kindest, most gentle soul that ever was. She went away slowly, forgetting everything about her life, about the people she loved, and it took years for her suffering to end.

      I’m not scared of death, but this is worse. That will not be my fate.

    • RE: Tink's Drinking Problem

      @skysayl The 2003 live-action version had Ludivine Sagnier as Tinkerbell. You have no idea how that messed with my brain. I had seen her other movie, Ozon’s excellent Gouttes d’eau sur pierres brûlantes before that.

      I love French SW (not nearly enough out there). So let’s just say I had conflicting images in my mind when watching tiny Ludivine. 😧 😲

    • RE: I wish there was a term for exclusively male giants

      @AnnDViant in French we say “géant” (male) and “géante” (female), always have. Sadly, there’s no real single word for a shrunken (or tiny) woman, which again hurts visibility and searchability. The closest we have is “lilliputienne” (i.e. an inhabitant of Lilliput, used as an adjective), but it’s not seen very often.

      There’s also not much size literature in French, in our folklore or popular culture. Charles Beaudelaire did write a poem called “La géante” in his seminal “Les fleurs du mal” :

      La géante

      Du temps que la Nature en sa verve puissante
      Concevait chaque jour des enfants monstrueux,
      J’eusse aimé vivre auprès d’une jeune géante,
      Comme aux pieds d’une reine chat voluptueux.
      J’eusse aimé voir son corps fleurir avec son âme
      Et grandir librement dans ses terribles jeux ;
      Deviner si son coeur couve une sombre flamme
      Aux humides brouillards qui nagent dans ses yeux ;
      Parcourir à loisir ses magnifiques formes ;
      Ramper sur le versant de ses genoux énormes,
      Et parfois en été, quand les soleils malsains,
      Lasse, la font s’étendre à travers la campagne,
      Dormir nonchalamment à l’ombre de ses seins,
      Comme un hameau paisible au pied d’une montagne.

      @Olo Oh thanks, that’s awesome to hear you discovered something new. I’m curious which one? Like I said I’m only starting so there should hopefully be a few other gems in there. 😁

    • RE: How Open Are You All About Your Fetish?

      @sirensinner Not open at all. Even as a child I knew something wasn’t quite ‘right’ with me, so I kept this under lock and key, even more so after puberty.

      I did try to tell the women who shared my life, but I never could. Awkward, introverted & shy, so communication has never been my forte, let alone discussion about my secret fetish. I have lots of respect to people coming out to their partners.

      I think as an older (in my 40s) dom male, it’s simply hard mode. Subby, tiny men offer this “power reversal” trope. Women wanting to be big or shrinking men is “empowering”. But someone like me? I’m “perpetuating harmful gender stereotypes” 🙄 Only half-joking, because that’s what a lot of normies (and even people in this community) think of classic BDSM, so imagine their reactions to me wanting to shrink women down and use them for sexual gratification?!

      I tried to tell my sister with whom I’m otherwise very close, but even then it was a disaster. She was clearly uncomfortable and changed the topic, after acting like this discussion never happened 🙉

      I’m most certainly taking this to my grave.

      @SmolChlo For real it’s so much fun 😊 Make us biggos work a bit for our reward hehe

      I am once again asking you to join me in VR shenanigans, Chloe. Altough sadly the sound and vibration are lacking (VRC wasn’t programmed with G/t in mind, something I’m hoping to address one day 🙄)

      I guess you’ve heard of my trauma with that episode. Holy hell, what were they thinking including that in a kid’s show. My young mind had not even thought about clothes NOT shrinking. 😵 Start of puberty + secret size kink == Lurk’s brain going nova. 😧

      No Boundary is so freaking cute. I don’t understand Mandarin, but I understand the language of size, and it’s sooooo well done. The fact that’s she’s a powerful demi-god shrunk to a few inches tall makes it even better. I want a tiny lady to fall asleep against my palms… 😢

    • RE: Variety article on upcoming The Miniature Wife

      In the book he does shrink stuff for her, so that’s how she’s getting the tiny things her size. I wish she was in an actual dollhouse rather than one with plumbing and electricity but I understand it’s easier for them with the sets and all.

      @SmolChlo I can’t talk from the SW’s perspective but from my side of things it’s almost like a dream come true, at least that’s very close to some things I imagined for years. Seeing it in VR is mind-blowing the first time, and still is honestly.

      If you look at static pictures it probably won’t help you get a feel of how cool it can be, but I know you can also play on desktop in good old 2D to get a preview of what it looks like.

      From the SW’s perspective, I can’t help you… I can’t stand being small, not even in VR. 😣 You could ask around? Ping @littlest-lily or @skysayl , which I had to pleasure to grab and hold a few times, hehe.

      @Jötunn Just so you know this is a pirated copy of a MissaX video, who used to do SW videos. I don’t mind mainstream sizey videos or lost / hard to find ones being posted, but this one is still for sale on her store, even though she hasn’t done any shrinking clips in years.

      I don’t want to mini-mod, though!

      I’m expecting the full trailer to drop around March 8th, so only a few more weeks now. In the meantime, Collider published a new picture from the show!

      In anticipation of the premiere, we’re excited to spotlight the adaptation with a new image of a teenie tiny Banks as part of Collider’s Exclusive Preview series for upcoming spring television shows and movies.

      IMG_7151.jpeg

      Love that she beheaded the Nutcracker prince, and how she’s using the earbuds 😊 Also shows that she’ll remain shrunk for a long time, which is great for character development and the effect that will have on her mental health. I mean, it’s one thing to be tiny for a day, but for weeks… months?!

    • RE: Hide and Seek

      @SmolChlo “Club Penguin” lol now that is a name I haven’t heard in a loooong time.

      To further answer your question, some people like to use furry avatars, others like semi-human beasts, some like plain old humanoid avatars. Custom avi are a lot of work but I’ve seen incredibly talented people create stuff like dragonborns or almost actual dragons, giant snakes, etc. No limits really. I chose to get a plain looking avatar but I’m thinking of getting a good looking one commissioned at some point.

      There are rooms which are purely for hanging out, chat, listen to music, watching videos/movies, etc. There are some worlds with fun little quests/puzzles and interactions. Outside of VRChat there are also other virtual worlds but none as popular right now. Also since VRC added avatar scaling (ie. shrinking/growing) it has become very easy to create sizey worlds with that in mind. They added stuff like collision so that we can hold tinies without them “falling” through giant hands or bodies. They added climbing too, so that tinies can “explore” giants. Oh and while the soundscape isn’t exploited to all its sizey potential IMHO, the spatial 3D audio is delightful… having a SW moving around my head from one shoulder to the other sent ASMR-like tingles to my brain 😵

      The only thing is that in VRC, the most advanced worlds (those with proper physics) require the use of a PC. The PC will use its GPU and CPU to render the world, basically streaming the info to your headset. Otherwise you can still access some sizey worlds in “standalone” / Quest mode (ie. with the headset alone), but it’s a bit more limited.

      Alsoooo, I’ve heard it can be quite jarring at first to be picked up when tiny, hehe… I’ve literaly heard (‘squeeeee’) it, I mean 😱
