By default I think everything in your drive is private, but reading what @Aborigen wrote on his blog, it seems that anything sitting on the home screen of Google Drive is also somehow considered “public” (!)

So if I understand correctly, if you create folders to store your documents they are private unless you explicitly share them. Unless they’re sitting on the top level of your drive, in which case they could be scanned (going by what Aborigen said)

He also mentions finding a workaround for locked documents, and while he won’t reveal his fix publicly (for fear Google will patch it), you can contact him for help.

@protect-tinies Don’t want to go full tinfoil hat mode but there’s something going, what’s scary is that they are now using machine learning to scan and analyse the documents instead of simple pattern/keyword matching or other Bayesian tricks. I’m sure they are training AI with that content, too, regardless of their so-called “privacy policies”.

So the actual content is being “read” by an AI and categorized. I don’t know if you remember my fun times with Google’s AI (Gemini) lecturing me about the moral implications of shrunken women? The “power imbalance” and “harmful representation”, " etc.

Just imagine how it would react to scanning some of the stories we like, even the most wholesome ones aren’t safe based on my previous interactions with Gemini.

It’s funny how some people in the community are like “nah don’t worry sizey stuff isn’t weird unless you make it so”… well, guess again, normies training these AIs clearly don’t think there’s anything “normal” about it and have trained their AIs to flag it.

Happened to @Aborigen too! They are cranking up their grip on shared documents, better keep them private for now. Also, it’s probably a good idea to have offline backups, and/or another cloud provider.

@skysayl I can only guess it’s because of my use of AI? I had just favorited a bunch of his work and followed him, a few days later Olo posted something here and I noticed I was blocked. ¯ \ _ (ツ) _ / ¯

Coming from a digital 3D artist it’s a bit rarer but sometimes they really do hate it AI. Or maybe he simply hates my guts

We’re really that predictable, uh? Glad to see your wits didn’t shrink with the rest of ya!

While I stand that my statement that makeshift clothes melts my heart, I don’t think SW two inches tall or under should even concern themselves with clothing. They’re too tiny to be properly seen, and so small they shouldn’t venture outside or anywhere it’s too cold. Besides, I imagine any materials would feel rough and uncomfortable at that size.

My only inner pockets are on my winter coat but they are very comfy, if too warm. You could literally wear nothing at all and still be comfortable. Did I just say my favourite clothing for SW is nothing? Damn.

Okay I’ll try again : I do love makeshift clothes, like hastily done only to recover some dignity. Anything a tiny woman fashions herself from bits and pieces of tissue, plastic, grass blades, whatever. It’s incredibly cute to my eyes. The classic tissue toga is the best.

I can’t believe the author didn’t include his sweetheart Nightsister, Merrin (the lovely Tina Ivlev). Can’t even suggest it to the author since has blocked me.

So this confirms it’s 100% AI-enhanced, even if they doesn’t mention it here they’ve used it in the past

Toyogub-san was the first SW artist I found when searching the internet ages ago. Always nice to see those tributes, like the one illustrating your story, Olo.

@Olo Don’t know if it helps narrowing it down, but this to me looks AI-enhanced, probably a 3D render first then a second pass on the scene with AI, namely for the SW and a bit on the male’s face. The same techniques used by @Epic_Illusionist, but more pronounced.

Maybe simply ask OP on Reddit? Sometimes they don’t source because they are not the original author of the render, they simply did an AI inpainting or img2img pass.
