            @deathstrom1850 I don’t know what “got me into” size kink, but I do recall one of my earliest size memories was from an episode of the Canadian kids horror show “Are You Afraid of the Dark?”. It was the episode named “The Tale of the Dollmaker” (S03E05). It involved walking throw a doorway in an attic, and ending up in a little dollhouse that was in the same attic. And then slowly turning into a porcelain doll.

              Alice in Wonderland and Thumbelina have to be my earliest memories.

                  @deathstrom1850 From the episode synopsis:
                  “Betty Ann, explains that most people think that Dolls are just toys, but they’re really like perfect little people. Sometimes they’re so life-like, that it’s almost as if the Dollmaker took a person and shrunk him down to Doll size. But that’s not how Dolls are really made… or is it?”

                    Mine would have to be Thumbelina I assume.
                    I watched that movie almost back to back as a young child, and almost always had a fascination with being tiny and handheld.
                    Though, I imagine my Polly Pockets aided in that as well.

                      I wish I knew exactly where it all started.

                      I could point to so many different influences. A couple of British kids shows with tiny protagonists, though they were both male. The ones with more women were more common ones like Alice in Wonderland, but there were more sexually appealing ones with women. The fragile damsel in King Kong is a good example. But if you want something a little more niche, I present to you the Dungeon Master’s Guide for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, featuring a scantily-clad woman clutched by a giant demon. Hardly the most expressive artwork, but there’s plenty to enjoy. For instance, note that she only has one sandal on. What happened to the other one? O.o

                          The earliest would be Captain Sinbad.!(https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/23/EvilElKerimCaptSindbad1963Trailer.jpg/242px-EvilElKerimCaptSindbad1963Trailer.jpg)

                          I saw the image when it appeared on TV in the late 60’s and it spoke to me. Now I know why. 😉

                            I could point to so many early bits of childhood nostalgia. Movies and cartoons with an episode where a character grows, or shrinks.

                            One snowy evening many years ago, I wanted to see when something featuring that trope would be on TV. I typed “shrinking woman” into a search engine. And that’s how I found all of you.

                              I would probably say a combo of Totally Spies and Honey I Shrunk the Kids/ Honey We Shrunk Ourselves. Alongside other media as a kid with shrink rays and growth but those to this day remain the most distinct and memorable. Though the flame that ignited it was finding the minimizer’s original website by accident. That is what set the spark aflame.

                                Hm there’s a lot of stuff I can point at. Since I’m millennial I grew up with the “Attack of 50 ft ____” episodes in shows and the “Honey I,” franchise was pretty popular growing up but one thing I remember in particular is that my room was Winnie the Pooh themed and I had many Pooh stuffed bears including one that was bigger than me at the age I was and this was also when “The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh” was airing more regularly and there of course was an episode where Pooh becomes a giant and remember watching that and snuggling up to my Pooh plush and that pretty much sealed the deal for me.

                                  Honey I Shrunk the Kids had to be the first film that started the whole thing for me. Watching that opened my mind in to a whole new world of fun.
