If your a tiny, what are your self defense mechanisms against giants?

A common self defense mechanism not just among bugs, but also among tinies is bitting the finger. Bitting the finger causes the giant to experience pain, thus making the giant drop the tiny and allowing for the opportunity to escape.
How do you protect yourself from this, I would like to know to enhance my self defense strategies out of curiosity.

I may be a miniaturette with a size that is small, but my will is bigger than you all.
I have a blue sky now btw. Also only feel comfortable with being tiny.

@Olo I guess I’ll need to turn this into a pain tolerance test

@TakoAlice8 He could wear gloves…it’d be difficult for a tiny person to bite through that much cloth or leather.

Or he could use the ol’ hamster trick and scoop them up in an empty mug/bowl.

Its not so much the pain you have to worry about. It the shock. The sudden nip. If you can get past that then the pain will end quickly with a good firm squeeze.

Poke them in the eye! The shock from that will surely loosen their grip from around you. Motion as if you need to tell them a secret and once their close enough… poke 👀

I mean, if you’re losing your SWs because they bit you, I just gotta shake my head a little, just saying.

Anyways, if you’re trying to avoid that, a simple way is to position your hand under their head so they…, you know, can’t. Depending on the size and how gentle you want to be (the smaller they get, the more difficult it is to grab your SWs safely, though after a certain point they can no longer even cause minor pain with a bite), you can either have a finger directly under their jaw (which would also keep them from talking, if you’re into that), or just have the top of your hand end up near the neck area; that way, they won’t be able to bend their head down enough to take a nip.

…The fact this means you are firmly grasping their chest is, of course, completely unrelated to this advice.

                Power is choice.

                  @TakoAlice8

Oh a shrunken woman doesn’t deliver too difficult a bite. Not nearly as much as a rodent of the same size, they just have little human jaws. The human skull is evolved more for facial expressions and brain size than bite power.

But speaking of brain size. I worry more about the crafty ones, who hide home made plastic shivs under their robes, than I do the bitey ones.

That’s the main reason they’re all naked.

There was an old savage squirrel comic where the titular character loads a backpack with a hypodermic needle filled with cyanide as a self defense mechanism. A word of caution to my fellow giants: ALWAYS strip your tinies before you play with them. This has been a public service announcement.

Outside of any biting or clawing or pulling on hairs that I might do in a panic… I think a better tactic would be to use my brain. To either try to trick him into something or, if we’re being honest, I’d probably just attempt to get through to him/make him feel pity/get him on my side.

By fostering affection and thus not having to worry about any tiny assaults.

@littlest-lily manipulation seems like a good tactic too

@TakoAlice8 Totally! I don’t know if I’d be very good at that though 😅

The smaller the tiny is, the less you will be able to feel her bites…just saying. Seems like an argument in favor of very itty bitty sizes.
