I only have ever come out to someone I know if they are into it themselves in closed conversations, or asks about it because they guessed at it, otherwise I keep it to myself. I once had a friend who was also into the fetish, because it came into a private conversation we lost touch when I moved years ago, and of course my ex knew because I told her, but I was very disappointed that she never even tried to be interested in what made me happy. She wondered why we got divorced the reason was her making me feel unloved, just used, I used to be bitter, but I moved on, always seaching for what will make me happy and a furture relationship where we can be both into it, haven’t found that in RL yet. I take my fetish to the world of the anonymous internet, and my artwork, which I’ve stopped for now because other things get in the way.

Plus me and @Technomage decided to meet each other 2 weeks ago and it was incredible ️ It was such a high to be able to sit and talk with someone in person about macrophilia!

@Giant-Keith it’s definitely scary to initially come out about having this fetish. I was blushing and felt embarrassed when I first told my best friend

But it also feels really good to be out, like I’m finally being myself. I don’t get nervous anymore about people making fun or teasing me because like… what lol
That would be the stupidest thing to make fun of someone about 🥴 I truly can’t think of an insult they would be able to say

“You like being tiny! Haha”

…. “Duh”

Then it’s my turn and that’s when feelings really get hurt, I may be 3 inches but don’t play with me

I’m fortunate to have one of my best friends being into size stuff and we constantly share scenarios, ideas, creative projects etc. Very, very few of my friends know otherwise, and those I’ve told years ago have probably forgotten (or I like to believe that they think I’ve moved on from it all - that’s what I tell them anyway).

My ex knows, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s used it to paint me as some weirdo to mutuals, including to others in our profession - bit of a concern when the national field is rather small - but what can you do?

I shared recently with my current partner: aside from him just being amazing anyway, I was spared a lot of additional embarassment with a simple acknowledgement and some general follow-up questions. Not in an apathetic way either, he could tell I was sharing something really personal and was already uncomfortable. It makes me giddy when he reminds me that I (5’3") am small compared to him (6’2")

The friends of mine who know are very supportive, they find it cute and will sometimes bring me mini items lol
I’d like to be more public about it so I’ll occasionally post artwork I found online to my Instagram story and people dig it

@Olo We are prepping for a 2023 event and currently negotiating its contract We’ll announce a date hopefully soon, once the ink is dry on said contract!

@Olo We have SizeCon board members in NYC doing the contract stuff with our previous venue. I’m doing the organizing from Japan, which is fine, I used to do most of it online with others anyway
