there’s this obvious dynamic of, ‘I could do this to you. I won’t, because I’m not an asshole, but that has nothing to do with your ability to stop me.’
Yes, absolutely! A lot of gentle giant scenarios carry this sort of feeling already, but there’s that extra level of consciousness for characters built/trained to fight - as you say, a refined power. I absolutely love that with gentle giants, makes them that much more lovable. Be still, my beating heart.

@miss-lillipants All of the BG3 talk is solidifying the next story I plan on writing. Gale / shrunken sorceress OC. I am completely feral for that character right now. And the fairy scene in act 2, ack! It was wonderful.
The only question is, should I have an OC as the tiny woman? Or should I just make it pure fan fiction, and maybe have Shadowheart get shrunk? Or Karlach? Still figuring that part out.
Anyway yes. Armor can be very hot. Sorry to get off topic in this forum but Dame Aylin can get it. It also might be fun to write about a male Aasimar paladin, if they’re all that tall.
-
@tiny-ivy awww Gale is my favourite charming soft boy he’d make a wonderful giant (to an SW or literal, I have also explored this).
I think Aylin’s character helped solidify my thoughts on the range and flexibility of paladin characters: she’s very proud, charismatic (glorious, even) and driven by a strong sense of justice, but she’s also intense, horrifyingly violent and has the absolute audacity 24/7. I wouldn’t quite want that for my main giant, but they would make for some great tension!
-
@tiny-ivy a shrunken Karlach would be so adorable! She’d be perfect at any size. Dare I say, I wouldn’t mind her being a Giantess
-
Meanwhile I’m an Asterion simp - though that’s probably just thanks to his pretty boy design and Neil Newbon’s work heh. It would be reeeally bad if he became a giant
(By the way, I’m so happy to see this many other gamer girls here~!)

Argh, stop… I can only take so much
Unsuprinsingly, she’s my half-elf bae (I know, I know…) But she’s perfect to me (and would be even more once teeny-tiny!). The companions in this game are really next-level…

It’s a tough choice between Gale and Halsin for me. I crushed on the both of them SO HARD, for different reasons. I wish Halsin had more depth (I’d happily swap out the whole bear…thing ), but he makes up very well with that mellow voice and that body. God help me when they updated some dialogue and the kissing animation, fuck
More importantly, both can have their own different GT/SW scenarios!

I look forward to whatever you might create
I don’t know if any of those look like what you had in mind, but I love Pallys so much I couldn’t resist generating some!

@foreverlurk it is a cool 18 degrees C here and I am FUCKING SWEATING. I love these! Thank you! God they’re so dashing…and so gentle (mostly)
-
Plus, there’s always the fun dynamics of an unstoppable force bending the knee to a queen (or princess, or hell, just a lady knight in authority), who can’t even touch the tip of his armored boot.
Bonus points if he’s so big that that kind of action should naturally send her flying, but it never happens, and it’s not until she sees him actually run, and leave holes in the countryside, that she realizes just how careful he’s been even for the little things. …Heh.

hahaha, you should see me smiling… it’s -5 here but it warms my heart that you enjoyed them! I generated some of those based on your own words. If you give me permission, I would like to publish them (giving you credit for the prompts, of course!).
btw if that’s of any interest to anyone, I also generated some (mostly-)non-sizey D&D pally stuff (warning : some blood & death):
