I heard that the uk passed the online safety act which will have porn sites have users give id.

I also heard that the size website outsized was worried about age verification due to some states passing laws for age verification.

I am worried about how this website will go about age verification. This age verification thing is clearly about control and possibly censorship. This website hosts a lot of taboo things and I am worried for the future of it.

      What does everybody think?

I may have a size that is small, but my will is bigger than you all.
I have a blue sky now btw. Also only feel comfortable with being tiny.

From my point of view I’d rather not have underaged people accessing the site but as far as I know we are still using the honour system

They are trying to pass such a law in Canada, too. I think it depends where the website is physically hosted, and from where you’re trying to access it. But I share you worries about the future of privacy and censorship.

For what it’s worth, I did see size content before the age of 18 (shocking, I know!), I wasn’t traumatized by it and it helped me tremendously on my road to acceptance. Just learning that I wasn’t alone, for one.

Australia is similar - the laws will come into effect in December. Given the vagueness with things like what constitutes “reasonable steps” (for websites to prevent Australian children under 16 from having accounts), and what @foreverlurk said about the location of web hosts, I don’t imagine that DD will actually be affected by them. But I’m no expert.

What shits me is that it’s clearly not about safety for young people on the internet - or anyone’s safety really.
