@maladaptivetiny nope, he’s just your typical “Cold Duke of the North” trope from romance mangas.

RE: Militsionerposted in Other Media
@SmolChlo Hell yeah, hunting for tinies will NEVER get old.

Sorry about VR I didn’t mean to mansplain or anything! Yeah the devs are Russians and have been heavily impacted by the war so that’s why their game is late and they had to cut some features (like VR) that maybe they’ll put after launch, if the game is successful.
I recommended everyone with even a slight interest in G/t to try VR at least once if they can.

RE: Militsionerposted in Other Media
@SmolChlo We could play just one on one then
But I’m having so many gameplay ideas right now to make it more than just G/t hide and seek (which, admittedly, sounds already fun as-is).Computer games and VR (virtual reality) games are basicaly the same thing. VR is just a feature that can be supported in any video game, allowing people with VR headsets to play in that very immersive mode.

RE: Would anyone be interested in having regular themes/events?posted in Community Help
@blehb Very kind of you to say! It just takes a lot more effort to write in English. As for stories themselves… I did write some in French 20+ years ago, disguised as fanfiction. Thankfully time wiped them off the internets (at least, I hope so!?) and no trace remains of the cringiness of my late teens lol.
As for AI, if the theme suits the limits of the Machine God (praise the Omnissiah!) I could give it a shot!

@blehb LOL that gif is just perfect

I came across a new game that’s currently in development called Militsioner!
Very cool concept if they can pull it off. Of course I’d like the role of the guard (hehe) but I can see how this could be designed differently to include asymmetric multiplayer gameplay!
Like, “Escape the Dollhouse”… hide and seek meets survival horror. One player is normal-sized, 1 to 3 are shrunken. Add VR to the mix and that would be insane!

I Married the Male Lead's Dadposted in Artwork
From this Korean (남주의 엄마가 되어버렸다) romance novel, a few SW chapters - I saw this one during the pandemic in Korean but it got an official English release last year, so decided to share it here in case someone hadn’t seen it.
The SW action starts at Chapter 62 until 65, when she mistakenly drinks a shrinking potion (eh, you know, that happens!). Nothing spicy, just the titular dad and his son fawning endlessly over her cuteness

@blehb I like the idea, but more as a spectator since I have zero artistic talent. I can write but I’d be too self conscious to do so in English (or that’s just my excuse).

So with that we’ll be able to create and share our preferences? Interesting!
Is there a central place where we could send our ideas, or simply a list of existing ones? Because otherwise I might be sending you things already in your list.

@maladaptivetiny said in Go-to sizey daydream?:
But maybe giants are extra prevalent in Norse mythology
I’m really no expert but it was my impression they were. Not based on anything but empirical evidence.
Same way I’ve also noticed that Southeast Asia has a tradition of tiny people in their folklore, based on the various stories and television shows featuring them and what I’ve been told on the subject.
(Someone should do a PhD on Size Representation through history!)

@Olo said in Go-to sizey daydream?:
Need to get more First Nations stories in there. Lots of Biggos up north.
You’re right, First Nations have giants in some of their tales. There’s Inukpasuksuk in the Inuit mythology, and the sleeping giant of the Ojibwa people.

@littlest-lily Lukas’ self-control is next-level. Truly an inspiration for exemplary behavior for the gentle giants out there.

I imagined that as the skies turned dark the giants awoke, sort of like in the tales and childrens books I had read of forest trolls my (then) whole life.
I love Scandinavian folk tales with their big and tiny creatures. I played a G/t-ish game on the theme last year, loved learning about your mythical creatures and folklore. My culture’s stuff is mostly about the Devil.
I’m also always fascinated by children’s imagination, even more so in all the different creative ways our young minds generated size content. You clearly had (have) a very vivid interior world, like I did.

I truly get so much enjoyment out of their facial expressions or the way their eyes dilate… like hmmm what are you think about ¿
Well you would have a field day with me, telling me something like this!
Teach me the ways of the extrovert, tiny woman, I beseech thee!
