The Ascendant's Council

Figured I’d share my favorite BG3 comic by BoomGT on DA. Astarion’s dialogue in this is the perfect combination of spicy and sweet. Threatening to eat me and then following it up with an “I love you” and cuddles?? Yes please
Enjoy!

@SmolChlo Life goals.
-
@littlest-lily Kinda full of himself, doncha think?
-
@SmolChlo Awesome! And quite fitting for his personality, wouldn’t you say?
… can I have a tiny, shrunken Shadowheart, please!? Maybe I should commission someone… she’s my ultimate fantasy “I-Can-Fix-Her” trigger lol (not that I don’t have those IRL too, sighs).
-
@foreverlurk very fitting! I’ve always had a thing for vampires but a Giant one?! have mercy
And I feel you, I’m also one of those “I can tame the beast inside of him” … sigh I usually end up eaten
-
@SmolChlo More like tame his appetite, amirite?
-
@SmolChlo My heart may have skipped a beat or two when I saw this
-
@Olo Just a wee bit lol
Honestly so much of it is imagining his lovely voice saying these things

This comic distracted me for DAYS. God, it’s done so well. I wasn’t a big fan of Astarion before, but this made me ease up on him and give him a chance (I know the comic isn’t canon, but that dialogue 🤌)

@littlest-lily My video card is too old for BG3. Is there a good sample of his voice on YouTube somewhere?
All my M/f stories and discussions can be found here.

@Olo Hoo boy there is SO much on YouTube if you want to go down that rabbit hole, I tried not to put too much pressure on finding the best and just grabbed the first one that popped up for me: https://youtu.be/tGwiHUbzFoA?si=k7DotRY207-iyn2Q
And just because he has so many funny moments too:

@miss-lillipants “relinquish your entire existence to me” had me losing it
-
@Olo I am nothing more than a mere snack

@SmolChlo thanks for sharing this, it’s wonderful.
