(yeah, no idea what to title this, lol)
So I was looking around tumblr and I saw this.
      Specficlly, this:
      alt text

And, honestly? This feels like a gentle (if chaotic) GT/sw kind of mood.

GT: ‘Look at this little thing! It’s so smol! Smol and CUTE!’
sw: existential terror and confusion, mixed with futile attempts to escape from hands bigger than her entire body
      GT: ‘pspspspspsps’
      sw: ???

I’m now envisioning a sort of SW Steve Irwin, who (either as a giant visiting human towns, or a human visiting tiny/fairy towns/colonies/whatever) roams about, finding women, investigating them (look at this purse! Clearly it was made using the skin a vole, a frequent predator of the tiny woman population! Truly a marvel!) (rather politely for a someone abducting them) while being totally delighted, then letting them go.

The stories of this man. The myth. The Legend.

(Honestly, I find both versions hilarious; not!Steve Irwin as this advocate for protecting tiny women and their habitats just works, but I also love the idea of just… this giant. Only one giant. And he just rolls up, does this, explains nothing, and leaves.)

      Power is choice.

@i-am-insane So a giant male version of Elmyra from Tiny Toon Adventures?

…Not that that’s bad (from what a quick internet search showed me, anyways), but I’m picturing a sort of catch and release set up, where though the big picks up the woman, exams her, maybe films her (look at stitching on these clothes! They’ve made such an advanced society, right under our feet!), and then let her go afterwards.

          Spiritual energy of Steve Irwin.

          Power is choice.

@i-am-insane Okay your concept is great, and it isn’t the same as this, but dammit we both said Steve Irwin and now I can’t not share part of a discussion I had recently 🤣

It’s basiclly two different takes on the same character, but from the view of the camera man and one of the tinies.

I am absolutely for these kinds of giants 😊 and in my head, if he is like Steve Irwin, he’d also be really lovely and advocate for the well-being of critters Tinies and their environments.

After @Olo’s alignment chart, I was thinking about how I really like giants who are really fascinated with Tinies; how they small they are, their tiny features, how they move, etc. Not in an obsessive/possessive kind of way, but not in a sterile, clinical way either. I feel like a lot of “chaotic good” giants would quite easily fall into this (though maybe I’m biased, because I love chaotic good characters).

Like I said, I’d easily see a Tiny Hunter doing all this to advocate, like, that tinies are people too (look at the clothes they made for themselves! Such detail, such craftsmanship!), emphasizing the family and communities they make, while showing how peoples actions are endangering their ‘habitats’ (communities; maybe focus on a tiny village somewhere that a city is trying to get rid of? Or a tiny town that is literally living off someone’s scraps?)

                  Power is choice.

Hahaaaaa sorry, I did read this, but I absolutely forgot when I replied. I was clearly too distracted by how nice a thought it was.

Love this! That’s why I feel I’d be such an annoying giant sometimes. I’d never get tired of this, like “now don’t move I need look at how small your are. okay now show me your tiny hands again” over and over and just gawking in raw admiration and having a heart attack.

Giant walks by, and sees your tiny ass, just minding your own damnd business. Rushes over, scoops you up, and starts tickling your belly. Saying the stupidest shit like, “Who’s a good woobie!? Who’s a good woobie!? Is it you!? Is it you!?” Then, he sets you right back down where he found you and walks off like nothing happened.

How do you mentally survive that?

I love this thread and think about this sort of thing a lot because I do work with wild animals, so part of my work is abducting animals to collect data and then putting them back where they had been (I joke that they now have an alien abduction story to tell their friends) and I try to give them a little fruit afterwards, like they just went to the doctor’s office and get a lollipop afterwards, all while I marvel at their cuteness

Also brings up a fun related idea of an ‘ambassador’ tiny, that is many too injured to be in the wild but helps spread awareness of tinies importance to the ecosystem with a normal sized handler

I keep thinking about this, I just… LOVE it when kind (or at least kind-ish) giants are so enthralled with the tiny. Whether sweet and gentle, overly enthusiastic, playfully dominating, whatever, I just can’t get enough of them adoring being so much bigger than me 🥰

@littlest-lily On behalf of kind(ish) giants out there, I can assure you this goes both ways - I can’t get enough either. Yay for mutual fascination!
