@SmolChlo Ahhh yes, I was only bummed out that he was shrunk so soon I rewatched Ferngully for the nostalgia a week or two ago actually!

A big moment for me too was the 2003 Peter Pan movie. I’m the same age as Jeremy Sumpter so I was juuust hitting puberty, and that scene towards the end where he was holding and caring for Tink made me so jealous of her haha. And Jason Isaacs as Hook wasn’t too bad either…

I’ve always been into giants, tiny people and especially fairies, but I would pinpoint my “awakening” to M/f was Captain Planet S6E3, Frog Day Afternoon when Wheeler and Linka (who was my favourite character) are shrunk by Dr Blight. Wheeler reverts back to normal size first and has a brief but rather cheeky interaction with Linka. I’d have been around 5yo at that point.

I was exposed to sexual size content at around 15 or 16, but it made me uncomfortable and I had a complicated relationship with sex in general, let alone a fetish. I didn’t really get into it until I was maybe 20. I still very much have my preferences, but my tastes have changed over the years with regard to what I do and don’t tolerate.

I’m surprised I haven’t responded to this but my first experience was With Sabrina the animated series. There is an episode called “Shrink to fit”. -“Sabrina and Chloe try to compete with Gem by fitting into the latest fad jeans. After sneaking a spell from the Spookie Jar, they not only get their wish by fitting into the jeans but they begin to shrink as well. The more Sabrina shrinks, her power shrinks as well. Sabrina and Chloe must reverse the effects of the spell before they stay that way FOREVER!”

They literally shrink out of their clothes forced to hop around in their own socks in order to avoid being naked. They are jumping to avoid all the giant kids. This was a kid’s show. Obviously didn’t show any graphics but still.

Then quickly followed by arriety and Avenger Earth’s mightiest heroes who have the size-changing heroine Wasp.

@SmolChlo definitely had to be the Disney alice in wonderland with her and the drink me bottle. Wanted to just watch it happen. I think I was about 6 or so and was like “yes I want to watch a girl shrink and keep her safe.” Cause she grows and starts crying. So I thought women wanted to be small. To be fair, a lot of that “giantess stuff” was generated by men projecting their fantasies onto women.

I think many size kinksters might be handicapped by “imprinting” on certain children’s content when they are young, fixing everyone into certain roles in their fantasies. Not finding anyone to talk about it with until they venture into adult spaces online only exacerbates the problem.

That would be watching king kong (1976) with my dad. The first time I watched it I enjoyed it so much and couldn’t really understand why, I watched it repeatedly through the years and once I got a computer I looked it up learning about the behind-the-scenes, and soon found myself falling through the rabbit hole of all things kong. I really enjoyed seeing a tiny woman in the hands of the giant so I wrote that exact line into google and found the macrophilia community!
