Question Tiny Ladies.

What are some things you enjoy/like to see more of in sw stories?
I get the impression from your tiny voices on a different thread that certain things you’d like to encounter in stories are not represented to your liking. What are some of your literary fantasy suggestions/wants/desires? Perhaps your cute squeaks might inspire us writers.

@HHunter1 Thanks for asking! I do want to say that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with writing what appeals to you and then sharing it. It’s what I do, and it makes me happy, and I personally don’t see myself changing on that point. Of course, if your goal is to gain more viewership, or “give back” to the community in any way, that’s great too! In any case I’m happy to share my own personal tastes, but I in no way speak on behalf of the other women here.
So for me, I love the human element. ~Feelings~ and ~drama~ about relationships, from an abusive one to a wholesome one and everything in between.
I say abusive, but that’s another point - I’m personally not into anything too violent. It’s not that I can’t handle death in a story if it feels earned, but it’s definitely a turn off for me. I would love to see more M/f couples who are lovey dovey - they can still be D/s but in a way that feels safe.
Dialogue. I want the characters to talk! They don’t have to communicate particularly well, but I swear I could enjoy a story that is entirely just a conversation.
And I know I’m in the minority here, but gosh do I love micro. Not quite invisible but still below an inch sizes. And not for the unaware aspect or for violent scenarios but for all sorts of situations!
That’s the stuff off the top of my head at least

@HHunter1 BEAUTIFUL MEN.
In all seriousness, I can’t speak for all women, either. My preferences tend to be extremely dark and cruel, although I’ve developed a taste for gentle M/f content (especially if there’s some fearplay involved. Fearplay is so good )
I also really enjoy the emotional aspects of size scenarios…I like knowing what both the giant and tiny characters are feeling as they navigate size differences.
As for micro versus macro scenarios, I’m a big fan of big guys (as in, giants looming over civilization). That said, I do appreciate shrinking scenarios, especially when the author explores the psychological and emotional aspects.

Check out my story. It has all my hang ups/desires/fetishes lol.

@littlest-lily I love writing M/F macro/micro dialog <33

@littlest-lily Oh, I definitely enjoy micro too

@littlest-lily and @Nyx have pretty well covered what I’d like to see in M/f stories. Thank you both for your thoughts
I’m someone who enjoys character-driven stories, so I like knowing character backgrounds, their thoughts, their feelings, their issues, and how they navigate their relationships (friends, family, romance, etc.) and the world around them. In particular, the tiny is who I sympathise with the most as the fictional representative of my fantasy, so I want to know what goes on inside her head.
Content wise, I am primarily a gentle fan. I am a huge romantic and love a good sweet, lovey-dovey story. I prefer giant or growth scenarios, but still enjoy SW content - usually they are already tiny, like fairies or Borrowers; it will always be my first love. To me, being small represents a powerlessness against the world, rather than a pathway to submission or relinquishing personhood to become an object. I like tinies with (and who retain) autonomy, and are able to look after themselves (or they learn to). There are some things they just cannot achieve in their diminutive state and it can break them, because I am still a sucker for suffering.
For giants, as I’ve shared in a previous post, they are are capable of immense destruction, but also great gentleness; they’ll frighten you to submission, but will hold you against their big, broad chests afterwards for a cuddle. For literal giants, I also enjoy rampage or kaiju style scenarios with emphasis on domination or demonstrating their power, rather than details on gore or death.
For both GT or SW scenarios, fearplay all the way. And are the guys hot? You bet your ass they are.
-
I need to visualize my characters so I always appreciate it when the author repeatedly describes the characters appearances throughout the story especially being descriptive when it comes to their facial expressions and the different emotions reflected in their eyes.
I also like the hidden emotions in these stories where maybe the Giant says one thing but means something else and we the readers get to catch a glimpse into what he might be actually thinking ~ Like a cruel and merciless Titan who’s secretly developing feelings for his tiny captive.
Dialogue and conversations are important but too much can be a bit of an overkill to where I find myself skimming through just to “get to the good part” What can I say I’m an action kinda gal lol
And hot guys are always appreciated just like hot chicks

OK, so reading the replies I think I have a slight understanding what your looking for, sorry if I misinterpret:
A handsome unshrunk/giant male(Hence just referred to as giant for the rest of this post.) Giant should be a good communicator while staying mysterious to the smaller female (To be referred as Tiny from this point on.) Giant should be an unrelenting force of destruction in Tiny’s life while being a tender caregiver. Giant should treat Tiny with almost distain while taking time to share intimate interactions. The Giant should limit Tiny’s access to things while providing for all Tiny’s wants.
I’m not mocking your replies. Honestly despite the contrasting ideas this is actually much clearer to me now. As to demonstrate a story outline:
Tiny at work/out suddenly spots a handsome giant strutting through her city.
In her panic Tiny freezes while others run franticly.
Giant in his wanderings comes to her building. Tears through wall and grabs Tiny, stealing her from her life.
Then as more server measures come to stop Giant he suddenly shrinks down to normal human size with Tiny trapped in his hand, reducing her to inches tall.
He takes her home as a souvenir of his success.
Giant’s place he explains to tiny what happened, seemingly glad to have someone to share his secret with.
While in his celebrations Giant toys with Tiny, he also makes certain to provide her a place to fully rest on his person. (IE on chest or hammocked in a shirt pocket.
While Giant is quick to give into many of Tiny’s needs he is also as quick to remind her that Tiny is his and Giant is in charge.
While adapting to her new life Tiny finds through their conversations that they share several interests which they both find deepens their connection past Giant & Tiny.So do I have the ideas nearly right of did I misunderstand or miss a point?

@HHunter1 Whaaaat, you mean women have a wide variety of tastes and no two people are completely the same? 🤭 (I’m totally teasing you, and that’s great if this helps you learn/expand your viewpoints by asking what we like!)
If I may be so bold as to point out what I think is a common thread - for straight women, we like for the giant to receive just as much (if not more) focus and importance as a character as the SW. The way he specifically behaves might be different from person to person and story to story (heck, for me it even depends on the mood, whether I want him to be more sweet or more dominating). We just don’t want the male character to be an afterthought.
So if it’s well written, I’m sure plenty of women would enjoy the scenario you’ve outlined! Maybe not all of course, and that’s okay.

@littlest-lily said in Question Tiny Ladies.:

Exactly! Gentle, violent, aware, unaware, shrinking, growth – our preferences are as varied as those of men. But it would be nice to see more content that focuses on the male character as well.

So… out of a sort of dreadful curiosity, and while this topic is here, I gotta ask.
I’ve made it a habit lately to try and flip GTS cliches and imagine them in a GT/sw context, but there’s one thing that bugs me: a lot of GTS stuff ends up with the woman having… frankly, ridiculous breasts. From ‘theoretically possible if at jackpot lottery odds’ to ‘this is bigger than her entire body’, and every stage in between.
So… applying that the other polarity… would you like, or mind, a giant, or normal guy, with an equally impossibly large dick? And, while I’m at it, being tiny with ridiculously huge breasts (which is the inversion of another common GTS thing, where the normal guy gets a giant penis so he can be used by the giantess).
-
@i-am-insane Dear flat-chested giantesses and short-dicked giants: You are every bit as overwhelming as more endowed biggos. In love and awe, the tinies
-
@i-am-insane the giant body parts thing seems to be part of the inflation kink. It’s an overlap with or a sub-genre of size kink. It’s never done anything for me, I find the weird proportions distracting and absurd.
-
@i-am-insane I actually kinda hate the giant body part stuff. No judgement for those who are into it, but it’s definitely not my thing. Then again, even if we’re talking more realistic, I’m not into really huge dicks on guys in general, and even though I’m straight I do have a preference for girls who are more petite… like if I’m watching and anime or something, I really don’t like the big boob jiggly physics thing.
