Legacy Writer - Shall I Share My Content?
-
Dear Lord
I can’t believe I overlooked this forum, somehow?
I’m a regular on Eka’s – despite being in the minority, there. (Or at least, that’s how it can feel sometimes )I have a little bit of a legacy-history behind me, with about a 400k+ following and a long, meandering Anthology that’s been going on for 9 years, now (IwillfinishitonedayIsweartogod). I do have incredibly M/F focused work. Hence why I am here lol.
I am excited to talk with like-minded people, and maybe share my content.
My latest project is “Swallow me Like Your Little Pill,” which is a stand-alone serial-erotica that I like to say is: Young-Adult, but elevated; exacerbated. (What it would really be like if an intrepid female-hero tried to tame a ‘dark, devilish boyfriend.’)
It’s my (frustrated) love-note to the toxic-romance genre; diving into the dark psyche of abusive relationships, and vore; exploring it from the less-sanitized approach we often see in the mainstream. It’s unapologetic and walks the knife’s edge of being very realistic.
So, hi :3 Here I am ~
Despite my content existing on another website, would any of you be interested in reading it from this forum? Or just usher you to the other website? Or maybe I can provide a more exclusive version here?I know how frustrating it can be to find M/F material out there - let alone find a website dedicated to it (?!) - and I’d be happy to share my writing to people that have similar interests!
Scouring DeviantArt, Eka for hooouuuurs and just not finding a proliferation of M/F content blows So if I can contribute to this space, which is so overlooked, I’d be happy to do so!

@nephilim Hiya Neph!
From a formatting perspective, I would defer to those few authors who have started posting long (ie, multi-post) fiction here. I’ve posted a couple of stories on Eka’s, and I gotta say I don’t care for the presentation there. Just my personal opinion.
I don’t know how many “casual” readers of this forum already have or want to make accounts on Eka’s. If you’ve a mind to create some M/f content exclusively for DD, I think that would be glorious.
-
@olo Agree on the presentation on Eka. Another major issue for me is finding things. I have to scroll through pages of My Little Pony same size fanfic to find the occasional gem. So if you posted a link to your story on Eka, that’d already be a huge improvement.
-
The filter/find feature on Eka’s drives me up a fricking wall…
I felt that in my soul when you said you have to fish around same-size My Little Pony vore lmaaao -
@olo
Who are you on Eka’s?– and, yes, I would definitely like the input of the veteran writers that have posted multi-chaptered content.

@olo I love the Interview and Couvade is pretty great too.
-
@nephilim Okay, so as far as multi-chapter content on DaDo is concerned, I usually post one or two chapters in the original post, and then add a reply with one or two more chapters, then another with one or two chapters, etc.
It breaks the work into reasonable chunks like chapters should and doesn’t overwhelm the reader. I would also just reply to the thread instead of the OP or each individual reply, so it won’t give you that annoying *@ symbol up front.
I would also either number or name your chapters, preferably both. That way, if somebody gets v partway through, they could pick it back up again.

For example. Here’s one without linking to a person in particular or yourself

Always nice to see more talent show up. Welcome!
Personally, I prefer if you posted it here, because while Elka has stuff that makes me come there… finding it is… frustrating, so more excuses to avoid it is fine with me. That said, I’m not going to complain if you just post a link instead.
As a ‘veteran’ author here… which… I guess I am, under that criteria? I’m not sure what I can bring up; all I got is that you can hit enter all you want, but it will only show about two lines or so on the actual version. Besides that, I agree that, even if you have a full story, it’d probably be much more readable if you posted it in chunks rather than all at once.
-
@2ndsolesurvivor Ah, that makes sense.
So keep embedding the additional, follow-on chapters in the replies themselves? -
@olo Glad to meet your acquaintance on here!
-
@i-am-insane Hi, thank you for the response.
So, staggering the content is the way to go? I agree with that.
Is it possible to embed the chapter as a PDF, or would I have to paste raw/rich text to the thread, and then each subsequent reply would be a subsequent chapter? -
@nephilim Weren’t you on Tumblr?
-
@olo I was not, no. I’m firmly ensconced in Eka’s. Carved out a niche there. Hoping to do the same, here. Although, it’ll be less on the fringe areas, since human and M/F is the vast, vast minority there.
