Feet in size content

Yeah… lately, especially, I’ve noticed that just. A lot of size content is focused on feet. And not even in a expected, ‘the feet are the closest part to the tiny’ way, but interactions with feet as a focus.
What is everyone’s thoughts on this?

@i-am-insane Well feet are a huge fetish in themselves so I don’t find it strange to see it bleeding across much like furry or expansion. Not into it myself but I’m not going to yuk someone else’s yum

See I always thought I was breaking some sort of size fetish law by not being into feet. Like I was extra freakish for not liking feet with shrunken/tiny women. But it just don’t appeal to me.
I mean, I’m not into furrys either, but I have seen images that triggered ideas or an interest. And I keep thinking I should add some feet things into my stories for those that like it. But much like homosexual aspects I don’t think I could do them justice. Oddly I do feel a little guilty not including aspects I’m not into in my stories. I guess I just hope people understand.

@i-am-insane I mean, I never really understood the whole feet thing in the size community, I mean I get it with crushing or messing with the tiny, but it’s just not my cup of tea. I do like body worship, I like the intimacy in that. But that’s my thing. :3

I mean, I get that much: feet are the lowest part of the body, the dirtiest. Stepping on something is a symbol of humiliation and conquest.It’s just something that seems very common, more than that could explain.

I always hesitate to include any reference to feet when I talk about size, because I’m not into feet in the way foot fetish people are. For me it’s all about domination, and a clear and direct reference to the size difference I crave.

@i-am-insane I get that a lot of people have a foot fetish which is why it’s in a lot of size pictures. I just wish I could see more pictures of giant men that don’t involve feet. I am not kink shaming anyone who likes feet, I am personally not into it.

As others have mentioned, foot fetishes are extremely common, and there’s a lot of overlap between feet and size content - on multiple fronts. I’m not a foot person myself, but this is what I’ve observed:
Fetish-wise, there’s the obvious dom-sub dynamic, themes of humiliation, dehumansation, etc. I would also add to this: reverence. Feet have historically, and for many cultures, been associated with reverance and a show of respect (this is still hierarchical in nature so is not mutually exclusive to dom-sub dynamics), e.g. kissing or bowing at the feet of someone, worshiping the ground someone stands on, washing someone’s feet (this one can alternatively be also a show of care).
Physiologically, feet are common erogenous zones. People like having their feet touched because it feels good (or they like touching other people’s feet because they think it will feel good to the other). But also some people just simply find them appealing in some way; aesthetically, out of fascination, whatever the reason may be.
Narratively, it can also make sense to have feet as a significant or primary theme to a size story. Like, if tinies and giants stand on the same ground, giants’ feet would be one for the first things for tinies to notice. It’s also a very perilous position, which is always great for action/drama.
But, to talk to your specific point about seeing a lot of feet in size content lately: honestly, there’s always been a lot of this - see above - but it probably seems more obvious due to greater use of generative AI making image creation much easier and accessible, and able to manifest more people’s ideas/fantasies. Not to make this a discussion about AI (that really isn’t my intention), that’s just what I end up seeing if I go a-browsing for more size content.

I would only add that feet—like vore—doesn’t involve nudity and is therefore far more convenient to publish.
