@SmolChlo It would be awkward to meet IRL and be almost the same height. In my mind, and for all intents and purposes, you really ARE four inches tall (gotta respect everyone’s size identities, right?)
Reality sucks.

@SmolChlo I may have poured a bit of reality along with the fiction in that piece.Tends to happen when you live your life wishing for an impossible fantasy, I guess.
I’m back with some content I managed to squeeze out of DALL-E before the Great Taylor Swift Purges. OpenAI really pushed the panic button with that one. More on my DA, as always!
Underfoot

Can’t Let You Go

Size Remote

@frollo Midjourney and DALL-E cannot do inpainting (at least, not publicly), so my guess in this case is that he used Stable Diffusion.
My only issue with feet is that I only like them as an entrée or sidedish to the shrinking itself. I know of no better way to assert dominance, either playfully or roughly, over a SW.
I say it’s an issue because those who like feet, they realllly LOVE them very much. I’ve started posting some foot-ish content recentely and I’ve been bombarded by requests for more and more intense versions. I’m really not into the whole smelly/dirty thing, or (gasp) crushing. Some of those people can be pretty intense.
I don’t really have an issue with my feet, but they are rather large for my height (my shoe size is closer to what 6’+ dudes wear). But whatever, maybe I’m a Hobbit.
@Olo I can still tell pretty easily, but then again I’ve spent hundreds of hours generating content and my eyes can spot the telltales of generative AI.
I do love the way you describe them as being statistically generated - a much better term IMHO, closer to reality (Markov Chain).
Interesting use of generative AI over his existing renders.
I don’t know if you’ve seen Jaxon Sorby’s “Small Molly”, but he created a few sketches and animations which reminded me of this. Here’s a comparison between his work (left) and to the right a reference sketch from 20min Walk from Nishi-Ogikubo Station…

I’m a huge fan of his work, have a look : https://www.instagram.com/lumber.jaxon/
yay, your dream came true, you shrunk! Time to go find boyfriend and–
… “and”? AND what!?
I love how you think though! First thing after being shrunk? Must. Find. (now) Giant boyfriend.
@Olo That would be appreciated, ain’t got no Hulu in our frozen wasteland
@skysayl said in Extraordinary season 2 trailer:
“Good day sir say would you mind shrinking me to the size of a mouse?”
Alas, I wish that was a normal question to ask in this reality (“Of course, right away, my lady!”).
@skysayl YES. I have watched that one… too many times lol. It’s still one of my favorite, but it could have been even better. I’m blown away that top talents got together and decided to create a G/t animation, out of all possibilities.
The original plan was for the woman to actually shrink, but the setting in which the woman looks like a cockroach was added later:
https://kai-you.net/article/11800
“Originally, the story was about a woman who became small and fought enemies that appeared in the small world, such as cats, hamsters, Roomba and even cockroaches, but the relationship between the three parties (boyfriend, woman and enemies) became too complicated, so the cockroaches (enemies) and the woman were combined.”
So the whole Kafka-esque plot was put together after they couldn’t make the original SW idea work. Sad, since I would have liked to see her shrinking out of her clothes in such a nice animation style.
I don’t understand Japanese but there’s also an hour long interview available here:
@Aborigen No problems, size identities can be complex to navigate. I know I have no desires to grow or be a literal giant, I only want to be huge relative to the shrunken woman at my feet.
I also know some ladies that prefer to be normal sized with said literal giant, which is also completely valid. I think your questions were open enough that we understood the assignment regardless.
