Something to get off my chest

But as time went on, I started hearing the stories about how these “Sexually enlightened” individuals would bully and harass women for not partaking in their shitty little fantasies.
This has been for my experience for years and one of the reasons why I’m only active in a few communities now.

@Nyx We need to take back our communities. Part of my personal mission at sizecon has always been leveling the playing field so no one is driven out for their fetishes, only their behavior. We need to push back against the rat dicks and let them know these spaces aren’t for THEM, they are for EVERYONE.

@Giant-Gripper Its a wonder why we can’t find tiny men to run events that would normally cater to them. I wonder why that is.
-
@Giant-Gripper Actual empowerment would be letting them pursue whatever fantasy they wanted.
I swear, half the problem is these shitbirds treating all female-presenting people as NPCs without desires or preferences of their own who are only online to perform for them.

In general, I search four terms in porn sites: shrink, shrunken woman, mini-girl… and giantess.
So much stuff is gate kept behind ‘this woman is big’ that, even if the story is about a woman shrinking, the branding behind it is that ‘this other woman is SOOO big!!! (proportionately)’ that there’s a bunch of SW stuff on e-hentai and the like I’d have missed if I never looked at the giantess category.
There are a bunch of de facto SW stories in the various GTS sites that will never never see the light of day in an SW focused forum. And, honestly? I’ve sped-read through so much GTS stuff, looking for SW gold, that I’ve realized they just have all these story options we don’t ever use that would work just as well flipped around. A lot of my current bent in my story planning is trying to apply ‘X’ GTS trope to a GT/sw format.
I have my theories about why its like this, but it’s just… tiring, looking for that needle in the haystack, every time. I’ve been force fed so much GTS content when I was starting out, looking for stuff, figuring out what I wanted, that I grew to hate it more because it’s popular than anything else, to the point where I usually give up on a story if it’s SW and SM… if only because the SW is usually a mini-giantess to said SM.
It’s easy to wonder if there’s something wrong with me being size-y but not liking GTS since, clearly, everyone else seems to.

@Giant-Gripper you put this so beautifully. Bravo.
You’ve nailed why I basically don’t want to interact with straight F/m fans. You and the previous commenter speaking from years of experience.
Is it really feminist to worship giant women as oversized and dommy sex objects? Some male F/m fans still fail to see women as human beings first, sexual objects second. The only consolation I get from thinking about misogynist shitbirds like this is that they usually scare dates away IRL.
But that’s just my bitterness at experiences of being turned into a GTS object without my specific permission showing. (Giant men are welcome to turn my kink characters into a snack or a bug, the key difference there is I asked for it.)

These F/m fans don’t seem know what feminism actually is. Feminism is about respecting women and letting them be themselves, not forcing them into a domineering position. Which is why it pisses me off when people label M/f as misogynistic. If you don’t struggle with misogyny or have grasped an understanding of what it is, then you have no right to label what is misogynistic or not.

@Giant-Gripper Thank you, I feel less envious of them now. Even though they have far more content than we do. We tend to have less toxicity then they have, we also have a great sense of community. As they say, quality over quantity.
Also to try and make people and myself feel better about the M/f community have a lot less content than the F/m, here some positives about being in a small community :),
A thing I like about being in the M/f community, it could just be me, but I feel as if there is more of a focus on people’s individuality in their art style. Because there is less content, your art tends to get drowned out less by other artists and there is less competition. As a person who likes to make art and has done so on this site before, I can confirm there is more emphasis on the uniqness of others artstyle. For instance @Dirtybun is a very talented artist, if I am not mistaken they go by x2dirtybun on DA (also happy birthday if you are reading this). Out of all the gts content I have seen, I don’t think I will ever find a person like her in the F/m community. She has such well designed ocs and her shading is such a unique style. There is also @littlest-lily who is great on both her writing and drawing. I have not read all her works(I’m a slow reader), but I have read some of raindrops on the windowsill and there is a great emphasis on emotion. I feel as if her works aren’t just unique in the size community but in writing as a whole to me.
Another thing that is great is that there is no competition, if there is it’s very minuscule. The art world does tend to get competitive. And so there does tend to get quite a bit of tension in it. But since this community has no competition, it has a relaxed feel.
Those were just some positives from my experience. I hope this made anyone feel better. As Jitensha said, “fight for love because you deserve it”.(Disclaimer: just to be safe, I am not trying to say the M/f community is better than the F/m community in anyway. Also if you are wondering if I have a DA, I am sorry to say that I only use it as a guest)

@TakoAlice8 You are so so kind, thank you for those lovely words
I’m also not sure if this helps… But another thing that I’m realizing has helped me is that I have a friend who is on the SM side - he thinks SW are cute but would much rather be tiny himself. And he is JUST as bothered by judgy GTS fans as we are and also thinks there should be more variety in content. It helps me to hear that kind of thing from him and know that the toxicity comes from a very loud minority.
