all fatalities in Size Fantasy receive the due sympathies of those who partake of such fantasies. that really resonated with me. I’ve never felt ashamed for being into the darker more scarier side of this fantasy. I know I would never hurt a tiny person nor would I want to watch a tiny person get hurt (I rescue bugs constantly) These are just thoughts and scenarios that I allow and give myself permission to indulge in. I’m a pretty sensitive person so I can understand not wanting to see or read about gore and violence, I’ve stumbled across some content that has given me a few stomachaches but I’ve also gotten anxiety attacks from gentle stories too. For me, it’s how I insert myself into what I’m looking at or reading but I’ll always appreciate both the gentle and rough side of this community. I think we balance each other out! Thank you again @Olo for taking the time to write this essay and share your wisdom. Your breakdown of this topic is appreciated

@littlest-lily American culture is also terrified of anything that actual portrays non-traditional procreative sex in a positive light. Going back to Twilight, as a non-reader of the books, it’s always been my understanding that they were written from a weirdly moralistic standpoint. As ‘kinky’ as vampires are, the relationship that Bella pursues with Edward is exemplary of monogamy and involves a very formal courtship process. The actual sex is problematized as the source of a dangerous pregnancy that Bella can’t terminate because the author is a Mormon. Or maybe I’m thinking of Buffy, which also treats sex with vampires as bad not because it’s with a vampire but because sex has innately transformative properties: one moment of happiness for a ‘reformed’ vampire makes them immediately turn evil again, and sex is how that happens. Most TV sucks at portraying this sort of thing well. The mark of a well-written show or series, IMO, is the subversion of these tropes. Twin Peaks is a great example, probably the best. True Detective does it well in a couple of seasons, too.

Ahhh I thought I had responded to this earlier! My bad. It was a wonderful episode as always~ I mostly just want to thank @Aborigen for taking the time to make an entire episode on M/f. I would have never expected anyone to focus on a kink they don’t enjoy, so it’s awesome you went out of your way to do that and to even reach out to our little community. I also agree with @miss-lillipants about the lion analogy. This is a power fantasy, and while the giant/giantess ultimately dominates the situation, I feel that the smaller party can have plenty of control depending on their relationship. That itself is very exciting to me. What kind of ideas do you have for future episodes, if you want to share? As always, we’re looking forward to the next one. If you ever need more input, I feel like everyone here loves to dissect size content and I’ve found the discussions to be pretty insightful!

@Olo For real she’s almost 6 feet tall, someone should really do something about that… But seriously I saw those movies WAY too young (thanks to my careless older brother!) and it terrified me, I had nightmares for weeks.

@Olo HA. I did go on a couple of dates with someone slightly shorter than me. It didn’t last long, but that had nothing to do with his height. Just an asshole who didn’t listen to boundaries. And then the person I ended up with is someone I met on a dating app, and I fell for him before meeting up in person and yet I still get weird comments from people about how I’m with him because he’s tall. There’s just no winning sometimes But in any case, I do agree that shallow factors play a big part in our lives (for all genders) and it’s a bummer.

@protect-tinies said in Satisfactory: Since I’m all about gentle scenarios and protecting the tinies, I hope the shrunken women manufacture LOVE for the giant! The easiest way to work it would be they’re trying to free him, maybe. Though usually with that kind of set up they get something in return for resources/progress. Hmm. A gouche response is he comes or something, but maybe something magic related? Or they need him to protect them from something?

@nephilim ekas? I’m sorry I never heard of that place I more was talking about in general such as various forums, reddit, even YouTube when I would have to trouble shoot. And most of the stuff that would answer my questions were none size related like when I wanted to improve a bit on my lightening to make renders more… Good lit? I ended up using this video (he was actually considered the best for Sfm for quite a while last I heard) that teaches how to light up the whole map with a ‘sun’ instead of using the map’s built in light. Which is handed for outdoor renders. https://youtu.be/VY8Bkn8Zng4?si=p4yQUR53efH6sPmP

I definitely would shrink a woman in a world where everything about it was already figured out and safe and common with a partner who felt like her shrunken self was her “true” self. It just feels like it makes sense to me. I’d want to be in control of her shrinking, though. Sometimes I’m in the mood to cuddle a proportional three foot tall woman, sometimes, I want to feel use a four inch woman as my little lap fidget toy.

@TakoAlice8 I don’t mind answering this at all; in fact, thanks for asking. It is my understanding that the term “switch” is used in Size discussions analogously to the way it is used in BDSM circles, where it means someone who is equally able to perform either the dom role or the sub role. I don’t engage in roleplay, but as a Size writer (including banter on Size forums) I enjoy “performing” equally as a Male Giant and as a Shrunken Man. In that sense I would say I am indeed a “size switch.” However, I prefer to keep these two personae separate, Tol Olo and Smol Olo, if you will. I have no interest in performing as a character who can become both giant and tiny. Each persona has a Size orientation that is fixed and passionate. When I am on Daddy’s Dollhouse, I am always Tol Olo; if you forget that you’re going in my pocket (or my mouth). Any hardy souls who have managed to slog through my interminable blog posts might remember that I have not always been equally comfortable in both roles. While my earliest memories of Size feelings were about having tiny women in my grasp or my mouth, once puberty hit I was all about becoming tiny myself and falling into a giant woman’s clutches. I violently repressed any and all shrunken woman fantasies as, if not misogynistic, at least regressive. It wasn’t until about nine years ago that I finally let myself embrace my SW fantasies. The main catalyst for this was years of observing and listening to female M/f fans share (and write and draw) what Size means to them. Consequently, I’m committed to the notion that being exposed to different Size orientations and configurations than what one prefers expands and solidifies one’s understanding of what Size can be, leading to a deeper appreciation of one’s own preferences. I know for certain that it has made me a better Size writer, learning what pushes other people’s buttons. I guess that’s why I’m proud to be a size switch.

@Olo Now since I think about it, I agree with what you said, that your not waiting for size to be mainstream. I guess it would be a bad thing since you also said it would be exploited by capitalism. I thought this may be an interesting topic to dwelve in because I feel as if the size community has become so much over the past years. I also wanted to try and predict where this community is headed. You are right about how there is no single size community.
