@TakoAlice8 I say this coming from a drawing and writing background, can’t say much for animation. For me, the creative drive comes and goes. Creating takes work: some days it’s easier, a lot of the time though, it takes and effort. It can be exhausting. Countering the perfectionism is only a small part of the problem, I think. But I don’t mean to make is sound all “gloom and doom” though; I just mean that you’re not alone.

It’s hard to not already “love the process” - you wouldn’t be wanting to create otherwise (unless you’re being forced to, but that’s a different issue). So rather than seeking to “fall in love with the process”, it’s worth being patient and, I guess, let the magic happen when it happens. Don’t force yourself, lest you get frustrated. But don’t give up entirely: fill the time by doing something else - something small, or something unrelated to your current project, even if it’s just practising for yourself. Every little bit of work you do is progress, for the term short term and long term, and contributes to your process.

But yeah I was a fan of Bullfrog and I played Populous on my brother’s computer (thanks to him I could play games my parents wouldn’t have wanted me to play lol)

Never got into Dungeon Keeper, but heard they are classics. My other favourite was a cyberpunk one called Syndicate, you had missions to complete with a team of agents, didn’t understand it too much but setting people on fire never got old 😁

Hell if it’s just a story or a fantasy, then there’s no one real at all to be concerned about, and RPs aren’t real (unless you’re actually shrinking? 😏 ) so even if a ‘giant’ ‘steps on you’ you’re not actually getting stepped on by a giant foot, so… what’s the harm?

Honestly, I’ve always found it more concerning the other way around, since then you’re actually doing the wrong thing. The same logic applies there, of course, but I’ve always had problems emotionally accepting the logic about my own desires, so it’s not like I don’t get what you’re talking about.

@HHunter1 More interesting points are that in standard art it’s commonly accepted that a body should be 7.5-8 times the ratio of the head for regular proportioning, but comic book artists normally draw superheroes as 9 heads scale for the body to make the character look bigger and more buff. With the advent of female superheroes I’d guess that had a lot to do with Amazons being larger. Also, I’d guess the patriarchy had a hand. You’d be surprised by how many submissive men I’ve spoken with that blithely assumed that if they ever rebelled against a FemDomme it would be no contest. So it was almost a necessity that Dominant Women become taller and more muscular so men would take their authority seriously. As I write this, it’s just occurring to me that I wonder if this had anything to do with the fascination with midget wrestling. Tiny people fighting seems almost counter-intuitive in our society.
