Back in the days of the Roman empire men having sex was just seen as a biological function of being male and whatever woman who was nearby was useful for that purpose. The only real issue was answering to her father, brother, or husband, assuming he was of sufficient class or power to demand compensation for his property being damaged.

Now I get some folks around here like the darker side of things, and the over the top stuff hits in a good place for people.

I suppose one way to do it would be for groups of women to intentionally team up, to look out for each other and find stable relationships that would be more difficult or at least rare with a giant.

It might be fun to write something where men grow rather than women shrink and perhaps not a lot of men survive the growing process. That way women at least have numbers to balance out the situation. Perhaps some groups of women have even “tamed” a giant.

Edit: I really ment to say, there are men who’s default height is 5’0. This man’s factory settings height is 5’0. If a lot of women only date men taller than them, he can definitely grant their wish, how ever those women have to be careful what they wish.

Oh my, there’s not often enough renders from the giant’s POV. I love those! Helps me imagine what I would see and my mind spirals from there…

I agree there isn’t much from the POV of the giant, so when I make scenes I usually also try to do POV angles from the giants and the tinies. I’ve found the latter is more popular since it lets people embody really the tiny, but I do have a fondness of the giant’s perspective looking down at the little people below them.

This is fantastic! I agree with foreverlurk about the POV, but the tiny’s POV is so great as well, I love how she’s hiding and the giant POV can’t actually see her – but clearly she can see his boot very clearly. Really brings home the scale, when you can’t see someone at all, but they can clearly see you.

I really enjoy the comparison in perspectives between the giants and the tinies. The tiny’s POV makes the giant look big while the giant’s POV makes the giant feel big. To me, it gives both angles a unique experience even though it’s still the same scene.

if im being honest, i much prefer minigiants. i’ll geek out to a 8ft tall guy much more than a 50ft tall one (geek out to both though)

I bought the first hard copy of Milo Manara’s Gulliveriana I came across, which was in France. When Gulliveriana finally has her big disagreement with the Empress of Lilliput, she calls the latter a “Lilliputasse.”

@TakoAlice8 I go by Gulliver rules. Whoever is the “normal” size is not the big or the small one.

Mixed size societies still tend to have areas that are specialized for one size or the other.

Tangent: There was very little sexy about Zootopia to me, overall more cute and funny than anything, but the depiction of the shrew or mouse city that there’s a chase scene in kind of got my imagination going about what that would be like with tiny humans…just as a normal part of a city.

@TakoAlice8 I’ve joined! It’s still in its early stages, but it seems like lots of people are involved in helping it ramp up. I’m optimistic of its growth 🙂

Honestly, I get the vibe giants are more common because a giant guy is a rare but still existent movie monster.

It puts the concept into people’s minds. Meanwhile, SWs have been phased out, if anything, probably because some people think it’s offensive to women and a larger portion are afraid people will think it’s offensive to women.
