@Mimi-Robotto Thank you so much, there’s a lot that resonates with me in what you wrote, but first let me just say that I’m in a better place mentally than when I wrote this. I haven’t been able to talk to my therapist about the kink yet but we did address some adjacent topics. Meds also helped but caused other side effects which I’m still dealing with. Overall I’ve still got a long road ahead but no longer in pure survival mode.

About the void I feel, you absolutely nail it on the head. I’ve never been more myself than when I indulge in RP or semi-RP with tiny ladies. They see a part of me that’s been hidden forever, and they love that part of me. It’s incredibly validating and at the same time, reality comes back twice as hard to crush me. That’s the part that make me feel even lonelier in this life, more so than just the lack of a life partner, but one who sees me without any facade, at my most vulnerable.

Sadly I had to stop my therapy sessions because my insurance ran out and I couldn’t afford to pay for them out of pocket, but I’m restarting them in January, hopefully this time around I’ll be able to push through my mental block and talk openly about my fetish. I feel there’s still a lot to unpack in there.

I bought the first hard copy of Milo Manara’s Gulliveriana I came across, which was in France. When Gulliveriana finally has her big disagreement with the Empress of Lilliput, she calls the latter a “Lilliputasse.”

I mean, that’s absolutely a fetish in a general sense. I might even say it’s common, even, considering what I know about female erotic stories and the like. I’ve found an almost certainly female author making stories about women cheerfully getting mind fucked into someone just as powerless to resist their owners as a shrunken women is, and a sort of shared universe literally called ‘Human Domestication Guide’, where the main characters are made into obedient pets by invading, well meaning aliens, so… yeah.

If you’re into it, willing, and consenting, then it’s not ‘unwilling’ in the meaningful, rape-y sense, which is rather the point where that gets awkward, morally. Hell if it’s just a story or a fantasy, then there’s no one real at all to be concerned about, and RPs aren’t real (unless you’re actually shrinking? 😏 ) so even if a ‘giant’ ‘steps on you’ you’re not actually getting stepped on by a giant foot, so… what’s the harm?

Honestly, I’ve always found it more concerning the other way around, since then you’re actually doing the wrong thing. The same logic applies there, of course, but I’ve always had problems emotionally accepting the logic about my own desires, so it’s not like I don’t get what you’re talking about.

@TakoAlice8 I say this coming from a drawing and writing background, can’t say much for animation. For me, the creative drive comes and goes. Creating takes work: some days it’s easier, a lot of the time though, it takes and effort. It can be exhausting. Countering the perfectionism is only a small part of the problem, I think. But I don’t mean to make is sound all “gloom and doom” though; I just mean that you’re not alone.

It’s hard to not already “love the process” - you wouldn’t be wanting to create otherwise (unless you’re being forced to, but that’s a different issue). So rather than seeking to “fall in love with the process”, it’s worth being patient and, I guess, let the magic happen when it happens. Don’t force yourself, lest you get frustrated. But don’t give up entirely: fill the time by doing something else - something small, or something unrelated to your current project, even if it’s just practising for yourself. Every little bit of work you do is progress, for the term short term and long term, and contributes to your process.

I definitely agree with @blehb when it comes to my ideal giant kind of changing with my mood. Most of the time my ideal giant is a very chill and kind guy. I like to imagine he keeps my interests in mind and takes good care of me but can be a bit forgetful or unaware at times. :giant: I will say however, I sometimes like to imagine a mean giant but they are never cruel. A good example for me would be Seto Kaiba from Yugioh, where he is mean and picks on people but is never outright cruel.

That’s a really good point that I didn’t even want to bring up, but it’s true. Age play is my biggest squick and some mini-giant descriptions revel in this, or at least bring this up in my associations.
