Yeah, if you look at it as a tool for romance stories, the main pairing is usually pre-established, even if it doesn’t happen until the end, so there’s no real drama when X character is torn between character Y and Z, because the summery spells out it was always going to be Z. It especially doesn’t help if Z isn’t that good of a character for whatever reason, and Y, who is much more sympathetic, seems to be written in only to be used a tool to fuel Z’s relationship.

Personally, I imagine it going in one of two ways:

First, a singular focus on the scientist experimenting on the giant, coming to realize that a powerful man bound up in chains is, in fact, hot to her. And that he’s really, really big, and that’s hot. And even between his legs, he’s bigger than her. And she has a shock prod, and it’s actually kind of fun to use it, and it’s hard to feel guilty about it considering how little reaction he has to that.

Fun times insue, with the scientist exploring her new found kinks with her somewhat willing partner. Story eventually ends with giant breaking out in a, ‘oh shit’, kind of way.

The other would be flipping perspectives between the giant and the scientist: the scientist is very into the whole giant thing as well, but she’s also forced into experimenting on him by her superiors and so she’s very conflicted morally about what she’s doing. Still, she ends up striking a relationship with her test subject.

Meanwhile, the giant is planning his escape; he’s been growing stronger steadily, and hiding that, and is at a point where he could escape his chains easily enough, but isn’t sure about the facility itself, so he’s biding his time as he gets stronger and stronger. He’s been acting compliant even as the various things they use to hold him back stopped working as well, and is faking unconsciousness when he’s drugged and the like, because he doesn’t want them to up their preparations about him before he’s ready.

He absolutely plans to flatten everyone in a lab coat he can find on his way out.

Then this one scientist tries to make things better for him and apologizes and he is Confused™. Fully planning for the scientist to find out he’s not nearly as bound as they thought, him almost kill her to hid that knowledge, but decided not to out of trust, while she returns that trust by not ratting him out, even as it sends her into mental spirals.

Basiclly, the first one is a short story, the second is the much longer version.

Yes, the yandere trope is somehow overused, but you add some G/t and it becomes ten times better. There’s this scenario stuck within my head (probably very soft for most connoisseurs), in which a giant is so impulsive he grabs the lil lady without care whenever he wants, and he’s always there as he is always stalking her. The giant brings her to his home without her consent and makes some arrangements, so she can live with him, ignoring any of her opinions and of course being possessive and delusional. It’s so sweet… The cherry on top is the tiny woman actually liking being treated like this, even if the giant is scary at times.

I manage to keep myself largely doing something throughout the day, but at night, when I’m trying to sleep?

There’s a reason so many of my ideas revolve around a sleeping giant.

I’m not super familiar with Genshin Impact but now I love that line 😁 This is so well done!

I’m a switch, but I still get pretty pissed off when people want me to be big for them while I’m feeling small (and vice versa).

@i-am-insane I hope you know that if you think your on the ace spectrum, you don’t have to have a label for your asexuality or your sexuality in general. Sexuality is complicated.

I do also crave the more wholesome end of size scenarios. I also really like it in M/f scenarios where the bigger person is intimidating but not cruel. I also really like when the bigger person teases in M/f.

I am very glad the SW community has been welcoming towards you. What I have heard from other people’s experiences, the GTS community can be a bit toxic at times but not all the time.
